OMG SOOOO COOL!!!
we went into the showroom yesterday and talked to the nice young lady I have been talking to for a while. I was debating whether to get mellow yellow or chili red but my mind was made up by the fact that they had a brand new chili red mini one on the ship as we speak!!!! Its completely standard with manual tansmission but thats all cool with me! BTW what does a mini One look like without foglights or alloys?? (Pics)?? One question: In the brochure it says mini one comes standard with mini wave radio while mini wave cd is an option?? IS this true?? The dealer told me that it comes with mini wave CD as standard... What is the sound quality like on the AUX input?? and last question. Whats it like driving a manual mini? IS it fun, is it hard?? Can someone plz post some pics of a red mini one?? thanks!

Ill post some pics when it arrives, maybe in about 2 weeks.

Any MINI is fun! No matter whether its standard or specced up to the sky

I saw an all Red ONE the other day (although it had alloys) and i thought how nice it looked

does anyone have any pics of a mini one without foglights? I really wanted them but its a standard car so ive run out of luck... Can they be added later?

so what are the white silvery things in the foglights holes? DO you get ornamental light fittings or something?? I wouldn't mind if i could just have ornamental foglights, they look incomplete without them.

They're the sidelights.

On the new MINI the sidelights and foglights share a hole!

I don't think there are enough emoticons or any that describe how shocked, diappointed, sad and angry I am at what just happened with my mini one. After signing the contract and gving a deposit of NZ$2000 for a Chili red mini one that was on the boat coming for me we were told there was a mistake and there actually wasn't any mini ones on the ship.

I was guaranteed by the financial director of BMW that the car had my name on it and it was coming in about a week. The "nice young lady" i had been talking to just rang today and told me the 'mistake'. I don't belive the crap theyre handing me though. How can you make such a stupid mistake. its impossible. its unbelievable. This now means i have to wait till about february till i actually get a mini so i told them to forget it and give me my deposit back. I think they have sold the car to someone else who has come in with a better deal and lied to me. A mistake like that is not possible. I have been ecstatic for the past month thinking about my mini but this has come as such a shock. I guess i wont be joining your ranks as proud mini owners. I am so diappointed.

That is so sad! I feel it with you. How very disappointing and gut wrenching. I don't know how they could make this mistake and sell you something that obviously doesn't exist! I hope you change your mind and stay with the MINI even if you have to wait for 6 months. Such a shame. I'm lucky enough to be in England and our wait is hard enough.

Good luck with everything. Maybe it was fate and you were meant to have a Cooper or S thats on the ship instead?
