Offline | Apparently the MCS and the MC grills are different but Chip changed his for the black cooper Aero grill which gives the same /similar effect. ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers for the comments I think the black grille on Pepper White R56's looks awesome... It's a mod I intend to do to go with the white and black theme I've got planned ![]() Heres a link to adam_Randells' thread with pics of his Cooper with, I believe, a Cooper S front bumper & grill. I think it looks gorgeous, much sportier than the chrome look ![]() ![]() R56 S Bumper A slight mess up with insurance papers means I've got at least another week to wait until my new baby arrives... despite this I'm still just as excited ![]() ![]() Last edited by Serby : Sep 17th, 2007 at 01:45 PM. |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Wooooooo ![]() ![]() Its awesome! .... It may only be a 1.4 and I'm currently "running it in", but it feels fantastic![]() Unfortunately my black and chromey's wouldnt fit, so I'm probably going to buy some new aftermarket rims, unless I can get my BSA's to fit without too much trouble ![]() So far I've fitted a shorty aerial, clear side repeaters, and debadged it.. I've also got a spare set of side vents which I'm going to have a go at spraying. Anywhoo.. here are some pics of the motor at the moment.. I'll do a more detailed write up over the weekend.. but so far its big grins from me ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers mate... Your exhaust trim is polished and sat next to my monitor, ready to go (I'm desperate to sell bits now to fund a new set of alloys ) Apparantly they wouldn't fit due to the studs being a different size... slightly larger holes on the R56 ![]() So far the acceleration has been very impressive, bearing in mind I've not booted it hard yet due to it still only having done about 50 miles lol .... Its not rocket ship fast, but its certainly not slow... it feels a lot nippier than my old One Convertible anyhow![]() Cheers mate ![]() After discovering my rims wouldn't fit, there has been a slight change of plan with the direction of my mods. I am thinking of a white and chrome theme similar to the car below... ![]() But we shall see ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Ahhhh good memories ![]() Yeah.. my new motor is noticeably less powerful than my old tuned One. Despite this, the R56 feels very similarly pokey low down in the rev range, perhaps with it being a new motor and lighter car... I don't know. A week before I sold my One Convertible I put it back to its standard power, 90bhp. Therefore compared with that, this new One feels incredibly nimble... I can't wait for it to have a few more miles on the clock so that I can give it some hardcore revs and treat it a bit more enthusiastically ![]() |

Offline | I had to do nothing to change these wheels over other than buy new bolts for them, because the resess of the the bolt hole was too small for the BMW Studs. A word of warning about Blingy Chrome wheels.... because you've chosen pepper white in body colour it's a very old fashioned colour and as such everything on it needs to be very subtle. For My stripes I chose Matt Black and Beige, Silver would have been too modern and would look out of place. Bu |
