![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers everyone, I've noticed the car turns a lot more heads now, so I'm more than happy ![]() ![]() Thanks! It turns out the bolt size required was 2mm larger in diameter than what I had used on the cabrio. Luckily my rims had holes big enough to accommodate the larger sized bolts, so once they arrived, popping the rims on was no problem ![]() I always thought nothing would look better than a black cabrio on black rims, but now they are on my R56, I'm like woowww everytime I see it! The contrast of white and black works soo well imo, and not only does it look better than my cabrio, it feels a lot more go-karty to drive too ![]() Cheers mate The mod list at the moment consists of:1) Search Ebay day and night to find headlights without the orange indicator bits 2) Sort out some vinyls 3) Lower it! .... As much as I love the ride at the moment... I have to agree with Laura and Jacked Up... I think it needs lowering ![]() 4) An induction kit would be cool, but at the moment with me running it in there isn't much point to having one atm. 5,6,7...) Who knows.. ![]() Here are a couple more pics.... Taking these shots low down, on a farmyard perhaps wasn't the best idea though.. as it realllllly looks like a 4x4 and in need of lowering ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Yeah, I raised the front number plate enough to clear the lower grill. I noticed a couple of days ago where the number plate is positioned on a photoshopped Cooper on the front of one of the brochures ........... ![]() ![]() Here are some pics of my only other mods so far, I'm still a tad undecided, but I think it looks good. :: Chrome windscreen washers and silver aero side repeaters with clear/silver bulbs :: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Famous last words and all that... ![]() As of about two weeks, or as soon as the number plate transfers go through, I shall be driving this.... (apologies about the pants picture quality, I've not taken any of my own photos yet )![]() ![]() As much as I loved the R56 One, it didn't have the dramticism, soul and character that I have loved in my previous cars I sure as heck will miss its fuel economy and cheap insurance though. Despite being a fair bit older and with more miles, I think that the S should be good fun, and look pretty darn tasty once my wheels are on!![]() |
