| . | Strut Brace's Most will know by now that my car was involved in a serious accident yesterday which involved the car spinning a number of times and also sliding sideways for a distance... This is just to say that IMO the extreme road holding i witnessed yesterday was down to these strut braces fitted to the car. Upper JCW one Lower OMP one Rear Alta one By no means did the car flex in any way which also saved the twisting of the chassis, I would recomend these to anyone now after witnessing the full extent to which these will stand.. Jon. ...................::UPDATE::.................... Involved 3 cars one coming into cintact with myself, causing me to hit the central res, then spin 5 or 6 times, travel backwards, and stop all within the same lane.. no one was hurt but very shook up.. damage.. Bonnet - a mess the grille, Scoop & drivers headlight survived Headlight x 1 sidelights x 2 Foglights x 2 Front Bumper - in pieces (number plate intact tho) Drive shaft - bent Track Rod end - Snapped Rear Quater Panel - Slight dent Wheels x 3 (nothing missing but the S spokes are now flat not curved) Tyres x 4 - some nice flat spots on them from sliding sideways for awhile Windscreen - HUGE crack (was already small) Inner Wings - on the A14 somewhere Lower Corners - missing Wishbone - Bent @ about 35 degrees Steering wheel is also bent from hanging on EMPTY SPACE NEEDS FILLING.... but it has to be something that wont get me banned ![]() ![]() Last edited by :: Jon :: : Oct 28th, 2006 at 06:04 PM. |
