100% cosmetic

Buy some rope. It's cheaper.

(...waits for the JCW purist onslaught)

Cheers,

I was quite skeptical about it, but had mine fitted a week ago.

Honest opinion.... you will only feel the difference if you drive it constantly on the limit around corners. When pushed hard it feels a lot less "jittery" and "skittish". It seems to be tighter around the bends, and doesent jitter to the side when you are 1/2 way around the corner at speed.

Best of luck,
Chris.

According to my general (and probably wrong) knowledge strout brace is a looot more useful WHEN used with sports suspension and springs. For example; on a pair of eibach springs and bilstein dampers or koni coilovers.
As the standart state of the R56 S's body is quite rigid; an aftermarket strout brace will only make a difference at the very limit only. But when you harden your suspensions, your towers will flex more and you will need this bar. It then changes a lot.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
