JCW Suspension?

I'm considering getting the JCW suspension to tighten thing's up a bit in the corners, but a bit concerned about the suspension being too hard for day to day use, especially with the 18" wheels and run-flats.

Anyone out there in Mini2 World have any comments or sugestions?

Cheers,

P.

I thought about it too but decided it was too expensive and that I'd wait for a bit to see what else came out. Theres a review on Motoringfile.com if you haven't see it both on street and on track, from memory it was great on the track but could be too hard for some people on the street and I believe Gabe runs tested it with non runflats.

Hey there guys.

Can't comment on the suspension for the R56, but I did have it on my previous R53 with R105s and runflats. It is a little stiffer than standard, but you can definitely live with it day to day, and you get used to it more and more.

Only thing I would say is that, especially for the R56 which sits higher, it wouldn't be the ticket if you're wanting the car to sit visibly much lower (it only lowers by 10mm)

Hope that's of some use

Spoke to our dealer today, he's going to try and track down an R56 MCS with the JCW suspension for me to have a test drive. So now we wait....

18" wheels with runflats are spine shattering with any form of suspension. You want to get some non runflat tyres asap like Goodyear F1s!

Ok so this question has been asked to death and I prob should just find one and test drive to see for myself but w/e.... As far as the JCW suspension is concerned how unbearable is it really I've driven a vette and a boxster and am completly fine with the suspension tightness and even prefer it over the anoying bounciness of my current 06 civic e so if anyone can compare to either of those cars or simaler sports cars suspension it would be a great help thnx

You'll be able to have a ride in a Cross suspension R56
