Considering that many people have found the stock R56 S to be producing well over its stock claims, wouldnt this mild tune then equate to an equal increase from those dyno specs we have heard about? Consider: the JCW kit may claim "only" 192 horsepower but it wouldnt surprise me to hear that, like the stock car, the actual number is closer to 200-210. And even so I strongly doubt that many people would drive the 192 horsepower version and 210 horsepower version and then insist on the 210. Having tuned my MX-5 to produce a little more than 15 horsepower at the crank, I can tell you that these sorts of increases generally end up being powerband tuners more than raw power increases. The engine will rev smoother, sound different, and perform, generally, racier. But I think a lot of people expect 10 horsepower to be something a lot more than it actually is.

As for me, 192 horsepower would be plenty in this car. As Tom Ford said on Fifth Gear, "that's about as fast as I would want to go in a MINI."
