The best was to get a discount is spec one up and then walk away and think about it for a week or two. Then go back to the dealer a couple of times and still dont make a decision.
Mini dealers are used to people walking into thir showroom and and just wanting one of their cars and ordering it there and then. If you play it cool and actually make the prats work for a living then they may try and sell you a car and give you incentives to order one.
A friend of mine unwittingly did this and was offered a better deal than I got!
Try and get as much dealer fit stuff thrown in (spot lights/arm rest/i-pod link) as these are things they wont get into trouble with HQ for discounting on. |
