A big thank you to all the MOP employees for putting on another great event, and for everyone for braving the horrible weather! It was good to mingle with all the employees again, it's been a while since I've been up there (I guess that's a good thing). I felt like I was in the twilight zone, especially before the Capers finished, as I only knew a few people despite the whole dealership being packed. That means MOP did a great job getting the word out to all the mini non-nuts and great to have them all participate! I highly encourage all your first timers to attend more of the
many fun events in there area. Thankfully my gamble of sleeping in an hour worked--I was the last one to pull into the parking lot and just before we all departed (not counting the other cape slackers of course). Despite leaving last I was one of the first to finish thanks to a few shortcuts...hey, the train forced me!
There's a short writeup on my site, but sadly I didn't get any photos. I had a miserable drive home afterwards with the highways gridlocked because of the pouring rain. After two days of motoring in the rain, once I got home I fell asleep on the couch for hours!
