| I specced one exactly the same off the internet. and this showed a discount of a couple of hundred pounds, the car would come from a main dealer, miles away from me as it happened but they didn't know that. I basically went back to my local dealer and said I was going to spend nigh on £20k and did he want to do a deal or should I go elsewhere to someone who would. I said I would place an order that day if he could better what I had been offered. He said yes, I went back in and that was basically that he just overwrote their computer with Special Allowance £485.00. It was pretty painless really. Since then they have been excellent - they ring every week to tell me it is still on schedule and I look forward to it in a month. Just hope I dont experience some of the problems others are reporting...happy haggling to all.. |
