Cheers Andy I think this will definitely be the way to go now. Take a bit of a risk and hope the pump is all well and good! I may ask 1320 though, if they could just wait untill another pump comes in, and when they get it try and find out there and then what year of MINI it is off. This might not be possible but worth asking them I suppose!

Soon as I get £50 (..yes... money is that tight ) I will probably get one. So far iv been lucky, its only gone at low speeds. Since I have made sure not to steer unless the car is moving it hasnt cut out!
