Lohen Performance packages

Ok, my car is currently booked in with GTT but there are a few things putting me off atm, distance (not only for the one trip but if there are any problems its a 450 miles round trip), price and a few things ive heard about making the car shudder. I'm really not keen on the idea of the bypass valve being "modified" and for what its worth id rather miss out on a few bhp and keep it standard.

I've been looking at lohens packages, I'm not keen on the idea of a remap really as I've heard some companys will risk the engines realiability just to gain a few bhp. For example making it lean in high revs to gain bhp when the original map is designed to richen the mixture to prevent pinking.

This made me think of just going to lohen with my own package design, the kit from GTT would have cost me near on £1k and will include bits im not keen on!

Was thinking of going to lohen asking for a 17% reduced pulley and shorter belt and iridium spark plugs. This leaves me alot of dollar for any other performance mods?

What kind of power could i expect to see from the above combination? (currently 163bhp)

What implications does the 17% reduced pulley have on the engine and realibilty / driveability of the car?

Thanks everyone and please correct my views if any are wrong, I'm a real worry guts when it comes to upgrading engine parts with aftermarket components.
