MINI2 - MINI Forum - View Single Post - Last three digits of registration plate (UK)

This morning I asked my dealer if I would be able to have any choice in the last three digits of the registration and he told me this is not possible with Mini/BMW as the selection is automated. Only thought I'd ask as I know you can do this at Ford dealers.
Has anyone else been told this?
I'm not to bothered, just don't want to end up with a naff plate if I can help it.
Only about 28 days to go!!
