Locked Out of Car on the M1

I was working in Harrogate for a couple of days, coming home this afternoon - down the M1 to Northampton.

I'd filled the car up with screenwash last night, and heading down the M1 (about Junction 47) noticed some vibrations from the front of the car - I'd forgotten to shut the bonnet properly - stopped the car, clicked on the unlock, jumped out, shut the bonnet and went to get back in, but the vibrations caused by a passing Lorry managed to shift the lock on the door from open to half closed - and I was locked out.

Phone was in the car, but I had heatset on so could receive calls, but could not make them.

So I went off to the emergency phone (bad reception), was visited by Highway "Patrol", they had a quick look, but couldn't get in.

AA came after I'd been waiting for 1 1/2 hours - took them about 5 - 10 minutes to get in, no damage (thankyou MR AA Man)

Engine had been running the whole time. Had Critical "PowerLoss" warning when I got in, but was fine when I got underway.

Anyway, it's another Mini Adventure

Anyway, I'm home now..
