I must admit that when i had a crash, my bluefin wouldnt come off, but did after about 4 attemts it finally came off!
This may not sort your problem but it is well worth ago!!!
Follow the stages:
1) put key in ignition (do not twist the key yet!!!)
2) press and hold the odometer reset buttom.
3) While holding the button down, turn the key to the 1st position, (the screen will then say "test" and then a number apears.
4) scroll through to test 19 and wait a moment.
5) after a short pause the screen will say "log i off" then "log i on" and then back to "log i off" again.
6) when "log i off" apears press the button again.
7) scroll through to test 21.
8) when you get to 21 it will say "reset" on the screen, press the odometer button again while the reset message is displayed.
9) the dash lights will go out and you will hear a buzzing sound. wait a few seconds and the dash lights will come back on.
10) now turn off the ignition, remove the key and wait a few seconds...
11) then try starting the car!
