Interesting to see the new TomToms. I've used a 910 for the last year or so and swear by it, it's a fantastic piece of equipment. All they need to do is sort out that stupid screen mount and it would be perfect
There is no getting away from the fact that the screen mount spoils an otherwise brilliant unit, although it is livable with.
My system has very rarely frozen and is
much more reliable than my previous TomTom 700. If it does freeze you just need to press a reset switch. I'm sure that the new unit will be good, but I'd be interested to see what offers there will be on the old unit. TomToms normally prove to be very expensive when first launched and then get cheaper and cheaper until the new unit comes out, then they go right up to RRP again for a while, before their slow decline to about RRP - 40%!
