| Good Weather News / Not So Good Weather News From today's forecast by Observer Jon Cotton . . .
The Good:
High pressure remains with fair weather today. Low clouds and fog in the valleys this morning will burn off as the day starts. A weak low circulating off the coast could push another round of low stratus over the coastal regions this evening. Saturday brings a few weak troughs of low pressure and combined with the coastal cloud growth, there will be more clouds in southern NH tomorrow than today. Likewise the mountains will see another day with low cumulus development in the afternoon aided tomorrow by the influx of ocean moisture. The mountains also have a chance for showers late Saturday evening.
The Not So Good (if the 95 mph winds we had during MOT2 are to your liking):
Wind speeds going into the weekend will be quite low by Mt Washington standards and we could even hit periods of below 5mph sustained speeds. Return to Hudson Bay 2010 (and 2011) . . . not |
