Get older.
First (obvious) issue is the lack of no claims bonus, it's too late for you now, but I'd always advise young drivers to get their own insurance, on a cheap car, so they can start building up that no claims.
Other than that, really your age will be a major factor, have you tried the insurance companies in our sponsor directory? MINI and A-Plan?

There's a few threads in here on the subject, so searching through the insurance forum only for young might help you find some first hand experience to go on.
My first insurance cost more than the car was worth, at least it's not THAT bad.
