Sticking a 3 liter engine into that engine bay is going to be very hard without making major changes to your body and firewall. Even with the MINI engine on the S there is not much room to put anything else.

Sorry mate, but with what you are trying to do I don't think you are going to get with out major changes. As Paul said, you might as well buy an S.
