My Dealer said the car is delivered to their local BMW depot for a PDI by transporter from the factory. Once the PDI is completed at their depot, then it is delivered to the dealer for valeting again by transporter.
I can only suppose therefore that the magic 7 miles is the result of moving on/off transporters, and testing of the car at the factory. |
