Question driving lamps alignment

I just picked up my MCS with the dealer installed driving lamps last saturday. I was drving monday night with the lamps on when I noticed that the right lamp shines in an upward fashion while the left is aimed lower to the road.

I hope this is not a completely stupid question but is this alignment correct? Upon inspection of each lamp it apears that one is designed to aim higher. I thought perhaps one of the brackets was bent or the light was installed incorrectly but wanted to ask others who also have driving lamps.

I have owned a few other cars with driving lamps and was always able to aim them both at the road ahead, but I can understand if they purpose of the driving lamps is not to be on during regular driving but rather in situations where a broader range of illumination is needed.
