Looking at the online configurator on the mini website there is quite a difference in the fuel consumption between the Cooper and Cooper D manuals (obviously in favour of the D).

Does anyone know why the fuel consumption figures for the Auto version of each are identical? (not sure if its a mistake on the website or not) I would have thought the Cooper D Auto should have better figures than the Cooper Auto.
