The new 08 model begins production in week 31, which is the week beginning the 30th of July. Obviously anything going through the factory before then will not have the fuel saving measures etc etc. My Dooper is being built in week 32 (from 6th August) and will be on a 57 plate - as arranged with my dealer.
If you are concerned that you won't get the new 'gadgets' check the build week of the car - the dealer knows that for certain. If you thought you were buying the 08 model, I wouldn't accept anything less. A good dealer will help you out. |
