Pity about the rain, but it was still fun to see the minis sliding around the track.

I am pretty sure the cars used in the race yesterday do the rounds so to speak, I believe they are used in similar races around the world. They are purpose modified by John Cooper, they'd hardly go to all that expense and effort just for our little race in Melbourne.

It was a shame about the weather and pace car situation yesterday, apart from the couple of bingles it looked like a bunch of MINI's driving in convoy round a track, it looked good, but could have been better.

Great marketing exercise for the brand.
