Hello all, I'm new to this part of the internet, but I have just ordered a new Cooper D. Can't believe the cost but after a day long test drive I can see the appeal of the car. It's superbly well built and such a great little engine not to mention the handling.
The spec is;
Mini Cooper D in Pepper White
Black Bonnet Stripes
Black Roof
Chili Pack
Darkened Rear Windows
Multi Function Steering Wheel
White Indicators
Exterior Mirror Pack
Fluid Silver Trim
And now Bi-Xenon headlights
I wasn't too keen on the cream seats or the cream colour line so I went with the black (kinda) half leather and just the standard Dark grey colour line.
As usual the dealer would not budge on the price of the car (
) but I'm getting LifeShine applied free of charge and the stainless steel pedals included too. Dealer also promised and tank of Diesel and Mudflaps at cost price.
After much deliberation I've also decided to get the Chrome Filler cap and the little tray for the the gap infront of the cupholders!
This is my first diesel, and although I don't do diesel miles I was won over by the excellent economy, cheap tax and the torque from the engine.
I'm expecting the car sometime between 17th & 21st of September. Yippie
