I know there's a post on windows squeaking when going over bumps etc, but I think my problem is different.
A few weeks ago I first noticed a slight squeak when winding driver's window down. Thought it was just the 'dryness' of rubber and glass and thought I could live with it if it only happened occasionally.
Now it seems very noisy al the way up and all the way down on every attempt - rain or shine!
Have cleaned/dried the rubbers and cleaned dried the glass and it still does it.
Have left the rubbers a bit wet (with screen cleaner) and left the glass a bit wet and it still does it.
And also whilst 'playing' with it there's been the odd time when it's not worked at all. Or is the car designed to let you only have a few goes at winding the windows up/down before it decides it needs a rest!?

.
So I'm coming to the conclusion there's probably a problem with the motor mech or whatever.
Anyone else noticed this?
Cheers
