hi ajamesj, I was just looking in to getting a plate, not having any experience of this before what is it that takes the DVLA the time. Is it because yours is on another car or is it just in general?If I purchase one off their site how quickly (or slowly) am I likely to get it?( i appreciate you can only generalise)

I reckon my MCS is about 10-14 days away, is that enough time to purchase a plate off DVLA and get it on the car. i'm hoping that you are going to say because it's a new buy and not a transfer that it will be really quick
