the audio connector is on the side of the unit, and it's not connected to the stereo via the muteable lines like, say, a mobile phone handsfree set would.
if you connected it to the AUX input, you'd be listening to nothing between the voice prompts unless you played all your MP3's off the GPS unit (in which case it will mute the music).
you cant listen to a CD and have the AUX input interrupt the audio. it is designed as a portable system, not a built in system. |
