I would like to lower my new MCS on 17" wheels.

1) What lowering would look the best (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30) ?

2) What is actually replaced - the spring or the whole unit ?

3) How does this effect your chasis - does it pass shockwaves through to it more and increase the potential for damage ?

4) What increase is to be expected in your insurance ?

5) What makes are available - which are the best ?

6) Who will fit them - BMW or third party ?

7) Are there any road legal contraints ?

8) Other than cosmetics, what other pro's con's are associated with lowering ?
