If you look at your rear wheel arch you will notice a small piece of plastic that sits proud of the arch, looking at it from the side the spat is on the downward side towards the rear. You can't miss it, it looks like it holds the 2 parts of the arch together.
To remove it you have to push it in towards the car, it is held in place with 2 flat clips.
