Found this on fleabay :-

MINI Cooper S Super Charger Pulley BMW 17% 220 BHP on eBay, Mini, Classic Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 140150143162 end time 19-Nov-07 07:16:14 GMT)

Anyone here have one fitted ?

The supplier has offered to fit it for £100 extra, sounds like a good deal.

Anyone have experience using Jonspeed ?

Please do let me know.

Many Thanks in advance.

how can you adjust the pulley if it is pushed on too far? use a puller?
Is there a warranty on the pulley ? what grade of aluminium is used ?will it work harden?have they been tested?
usually a cheap price has its reasons for being cheap ,and can end up costing more than you think,I have no knowledge of the pulley or its quality,it may be fine,it looks like MPH is the guinea pig for long term testing and ease of fitment

Is the hole for a set screw or is this an interference fit pulley

Buy a quality tested pulley.

To me is looks like it is held in place with a grub screw. It will probably require the pulley being pressed onto the s/c shaft but the method to stop it from spinning on the shaft I would say is the grub screw. Personally I would stick to a 2 piece design. That way it is not a big job when the times comes to change for different pulley size if you wanted to. I have a 15% 2 piece design from MED engineering and have had no problems, been on for nearly 10,000 miles.

Just makes sure the company has a good reputation and speak to the technical guys there, if you are satisfied then go with their product.
