Thanks Minigolf & lamsy for your feedback.

I've found my speedometer is out by about 5KPH at 100KPH anyways, so any slightly higher profile will only bring it back to actual speed.

I did the same thing with my previous (non-MINI) car for many years which was also out, by the same margin.

This also had the added effect of improving fuel consumption
