I decided in the end to squeeze as much out of the current run flats as I can. The winter wheels/tryes will be going on in a few months and I probably go for conti PremiumContact2 or Bridgestone Turenza in spring. They seem to do quite well in the tests reports I've read and come in the original 195/55R16 size that won't cause me any problems with the law.
Just rebooted the 'family' car so now have the F1s all round on that. Great tyres. I instantly notice sharper turning when I got the fronts done last year.
