If you want them to look fat then the offset is what will do that. Going to 8" will mean some serious thought on tyre size/stretching to allow them to clear I would think (and this is what lead to them being damaged like my dares were when runnig stretched tyres). Personally if you want fat I'd do 17"x7" in a low offset and a fat tyre. Eg 35 with a 215 or 225

Ok mate, not sounding good then

I can only get these wheels in 17x8, to get 7" wide you have to go 16" diameter
