Welcome friend, I've only been a MINI owner for a month or so, so also a newbie
I'd say get the decals on the roof, or bonnet done proffessionally, I had mine done at the dealership and they look ace, I doubt I'd be able to have done it anywhere near as well. I managed to get the dealership to do chuck in the stripes free of charge when I bought the car so it was at no cost to me
However they are probably very expensive compared to others so have a look around. I've heard MINI Pirate are very good, and I may be wrong, but I think they come out to you too. Give them a ring I guess, I'm not sure where they are based.
