For me the issue is more psychological - the product (sold under it's Briitish credentials) is clearly designed more for overseas customers than for those in the UK / Eire / Australia etc. I don't like manufacturers telling me I'm less important to them that other potential customers. So when Sony made Europe the lowest priority for its PS3, with a late launch and an inferior item, it annoyed me. I feel the same here. In practice it might not be such an issue - but MINI are telling me they don't care about my business and it doesn't make me feel well disposed towards the product. |
