Anyone remember all the "Wayne and Tracy" type green sun-strip stickers that were all the rage in the 80s?
Don't see many of them now (ermm, all MOT failures and warned off perhaps

Best one I saw (and you have to be familiar with a certain Preston/Lancashire terminology to get the pun) was in the Deepdale area of Preston, circa 1982.
It featured a full width green strip. Added to it In white letters on the driver's side was "ME", in the middle it read "NR" and on the passenger side it read "PEG" (ME NR PEG get it !
