Agreed but you can build modern small cars that have all of this and are smaller than the MINI, take the Peugeot 107 as an example, smaller than a MINI but still managing 4 NCAP stars IIRC.

Personally I think if you call a car a MINI it should, like the classic, be mini(ish) in comparison to contemporary cars, not just small(ish)...
