I would say there is a few things to consider for you....

1, Are you going to keep the car over 4 years.. if so then id say get it if you can afford it.

If not....

2, Will this have an effect on the resale value? if it does then it may be worth getting if you will get more for the car when trade in time comes, then id say yes but will it be $2000 more?

Also if you sell the car privately after say 3 years then it may be more desireable to the private customer if it has a 3 years warrenty stil.
