Unless the clutch is on its way out I would leave it for now and have a Janspeed manifold fitted and do some testing with a grs ic over the works GP ic, we have seen a benefit on the dyno with the grs over the gp ic.
We constantly see a good gain with the cam to a tune of up-to 10hp
It was a pleasure to weigh your car, sorry we didn't get time to speak, hope you haven't become to addicted
Just as a side note today at Santa Pod today 2650lb with a stock engine, grey coated blower, stock pulley, Janspeed manifold, Cooper Borla cat back, quaife diff, Exedy clutch and flywheel, yokoa048 205 50 15 we've just run 14.47 @ 95.5,
Don't forget also for every 100lb of weight saved is equal to 1/10th, cheapest horsepower
Don't forget also it was a very strong headwind at the bmw show, what number were you?
I was #A316. I did enjoy it at Santa Pod but its quite far for me to travel.
I fitted the ebay manifold and decat a few weeks ago but it was so loud I couldn't live with it day to day so I have sold it now. Are you running a high flow cat or decat on the car listed above? What sort of noise increase does the janspeed manifold have over standard or compared to the ebay manifold (i think you have tested one on the dyno, only made about 2.5bhp, correct me if I am wrong)
My clutch is fine for now but was just thinking of the future and how it would benefit me. The only reason I went for the gp i/c is to keep it looking standard/
jcw under the bonnet as I have 1 year warranty left .
I am just looking for my next
mod and was thinking of the cam but wasn't sure which to go for.
What would you estimate my bhp at with my mods?
Regards
James
