Sorry to dredge up an old thread. I think people on here have successfully retrofitted the multi-function wheel. I visited my local dealer this morning, who told me that to retrofit the controls to a 3 spoke wheel was around £500 - this was the sale team though, and was just an estimate. I later spoke to the parts dept who told me the retrofit kit is £170 inc VAT (Part No. 65710395006), while the "Input Cylinder Clutch" (Part No. 21526758826, now superseeded) is around £55. On top of this you have 3.5hrs labour. It may be possible to reduce this time by supplying your car to the dealer with some of the trim already removed, or with the slip ring and steering wheel controls already fitted, so at least they wouldn't have to mess around with the airbag, etc. |
