IMO no, supermarkets are notorious for using ethanol to bump up there octane rating, although BMW state that E10 is okay some of the reports I have seen for engine wear, startability and driveability are frightening. I design engines and only ever fill up at Shell stations. Ask yourself this, if Tesco did oil changes would you let them near your car?
