Just about everyday since I've installed it it has been raining - hard.
The filter is pretty far back from the scoop. I doubt there is any danger at all of water getting in it.
That said, I've opened the bonnet within a few minutes of driving in the rain and everything was dry. I guess the heat evaporates everything pretty quickly. I have completely removed the black plastic thing that's inside the scoop. |
