Fuel cap was a simple enough job, i got instructions off here, no special tools required just a little patience
. You're right the outer trim does need painting however i brought mine already done from a guy on ebay £39 all in. Not sure if he still does them coz keeping an eye out for my mate but no signs recently.
Go for the pedals they will look good, as does extra chrome against the silver.
I wasn't bothered about performance mods but my standard exhaust has rotted away and makes sense to replace with a S/S one........might add an induction kit to compliment it though
