| Ahh, I misunderstood what you were saying.
If you go into the service screen (hidden) can you see if you are actually getting satellites? To get into the service screen, you need to go to the setup menu and then press and hold the "menu" button for about 5 to 10 seconds. Another menu should show up where you can view diagnostics.
I would check that. The MINI has wheel sensors that will move the map but without a satellite to give an accurate position, it would easily lose it's location and report it off. If that is the case, it is possible that the antenna is disconnected or needs to be replaced. |
