From what I know, the pulsing LED lights are already installed in the rev counter, whether you have the alarm option or not.
Now you have two ways to get them work. Either find out which wires/relay is responsible for the lights and hook it up to the battery or get an alarm retro fitted. Again, from reading other sites, MINI's in the US come shipped with all the alarm relay in place whether or not the alarm system was specified. Many people then buy all the necessary parts for the alarm at their MINI dealer, install them and have the car computer software upgraded at the dealer, saving the high dealer labour! |
