Hi,

Having read that the goverment could be cutting the VAT on low emission cars for the 2008 budget, I was wondering how this would work if a Dooper were speced before the budget (ie Feb?) but then took delivery after the budget was announced (ie April)?

Would you be paying for the old tax- 17.5% VAT or would you be paying for the new tax - 5% VAT? Obviously this would only matter if it actually happened, but I was just curious as to how it would be played by BMW/Mini?

Any thoughts from anyone?
