I've had a search around the forums but I can't seem to find an accurate answer to my questions. Perhaps somebody on the boards will know.
I have an 06 plate MCPL with CD changer prep - I would like to go about adding the CD/MP3 changer by myself (and avoid BMW's huge hourly costs!).
Can I do this myself by simply plugging in a changer via the cables in the boot or do I need to in some way configure the head unit to use it?
That brings me onto my second question... can I use any CD Changer or does it have to be a genuine MINI model?
