I'm sure we've had this discussion before. You don't pay VAT on second hand cars anyway; that's one of the reasons there is such a big depreciation at first. Unless you are planning to sell a Dooper less than a year old I don't think it will be a problem.

My Dooper is automatic, so the low-carbon discount probably wouldn't apply to me anyway!
