It means that while the car is in it's rest state, ie parked outside your house locked up, one of the control units keeps waking up the car causing a current draw on your battery thus discharging it.

The clock is reset because the clever little IBS control unit (on the battery negative terminal) is telling a clever little relay that the battery is discharging to a point where engine start may be affected. in which case the clever little relay (called 30g_f, i think) cuts supply to all contol unit that arent needed for engine start.

I'm willing to wager that the IBS is route of the problem. also, a quick note to anyone reading this.....when charging your battery, never put the negative clip directly onto the 10mm on the negatibe pole. this will damage the IBS.
